Tried it and it opens the app, but doesn’t go to the note. damus: prefix without the nostr works though.

I put the damus.io link in a QR code and scanned it with my phone camera when I tried it

Likely a red herring. There is a bug where it sometimes doesn’t navigate the first time if it doesn’t have the note locally. I found this the other day and was putting together a fix for this.
