I like Bitcoin because the ONLY way to earn more BTC is through proof of work or providing a valuable product or service to another human being.

I don't like proof of stake because the rich earn nominal risk free yield at the expense of the poor.

Now that Bitcoin exists, any nominal risk free yield (USD or ETH) will inevitably become a negative real yield.
