Yes! Read the hobbit to my kids several times and they still love it. 🧙‍♂️

Excellent book. I'm rereading through the series now and am in the second half of The Twin Towers 🤙

I love love Jacksons interpretation of the trilogy so so much. It's almost perfect Cinema. I hate that the Hobbit was so bad and by the same director no less. Juat so unfortunate. Hopefully we get a faithful live action of the Hobbit one day.

Amen. Looking forward to whenever they are replayed in theaters near me so I can get the full experience. It's amazing how even 20+ years later the CGI and overall special effects have held up so well

Mid 2000s early 2010 cinema was something else. Games too.

It really was

I'm a huge fan of the books, so I don't love the movies (I miss Tom Bombadil!). That being said, this fan edit of The Hobbit is much much better than the trash they put in the Hobbit movies: https://m4-studios.github.io/hobbitbookedit/

Books before 1927. 🧠

My 5 year old listens to this audio book constantly: https://archive.org/details/roast-moose
