A friend on a local Telegram group posted that she'll be hosting a get-together on Thanksgiving day, for anyone in the group that doesnt have family or friends to hang out with. Her family kind of disowned her because she refused to believe the covid hype. Anyway, I thought that was a good idea, so no one has to be alone on that day. If we weren't going out of town I would invite her to our house. Friends, reach out to people that you think might be lonely or in need of company, especially during the holiday season. #grownostr #friendship

I love this. Growing up my mom always invited the single guys in my dads squadron over so they weren’t alone. No we invited folks over. It breaks my heart to know someone doesn’t have a place to go.
