Mushroom pick this morning. Mild fall has the chanterelles in a continuous state of flushing.

Very nice. I just had some shiitake mushrooms from my logs that I plugged. I may have to go looking for some mushrooms after work. Just had some good rain last week.

Excellent! I haven’t been able to get shiitakes to work for me. It is probably because I get too busy to keep the watered in the summer. I’ll have to try again.

I don't water mine. They are in a shaded area in my woods that I walk by daily. They will flush after a good rain. Maybe they would produce better if I watered, but I have had some good production the last 3 years from these logs.

That’s beautiful. They are so delicious.

This year has been wild and prodigious. Not just the chanterelles!

It all started with a massive haul of morels in the spring, then porcinis aplenty here and there through summer, up come the chanties and hedgehogs, last weekend's hunt gifted us cauliflower mushroom (enough to feed 15 people), and now we're finding matsutakes, azurescens, and cyanescens. This isn't even an exhaustive list!

Same here. It makes up for the last couple of years, at least for me. We also got a cauliflower last weekend. I’m not sure which I find more tasty cauliflower or porcini. Glad it has been a great season for you as well.
