What’s often missed in the Constitutionalist argument is the idea that all of this stemmed from The Constitution and The Bill of Rights.

Even if we were to strip the government down to a room full of the most honest men and women in the country, and strip our laws back down to those two documents for them to build on, you’re merely resetting the totalitarian state timeline.

It’s pretty absurd to write down laws on a piece of paper and then arbitrarily declare that they are binding upon everyone. Imagine I wrote down a bunch of “laws” and came to your neighborhood and declared that they are binding upon you. You’d laugh in my face. The only way I’d get you to obey those laws is with the threat of violence. Like all laws and government bodies, it is the threat of violence that forces people to comply.
