First batch of Jun tea! It’s like Kombucha, except that it uses green tea and raw honey, instead of the black tea and sugar that Kombucha uses. It uses a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) like Kombucha uses. So far I’m calling it a success!

Jun booch is my favorite! I made some blueberry jun one time and it was fantastic. Then I never did it again lol. Not sure why. Maybe the fridge space. I have a second fridge now I should do that again.

Recipe please! My daughter loves making her own kombucha. She would probably love to try a new experiment

I purchased the SCOBY from kombuchakamp.com. It came with instructions and a tea blend. It’s really easy to do- basically make a tea, add honey then add to a vessel that contains the SCOBY. The first ferment took about 5 days, them I added them to a wine bottle for the second ferment(left there for about a week) I added grated ginger to one bottle and cranberries to the other bottle. So far I’ve only sampled the ginger.

So delicious
