I'll disagree. The internet is doing exactly what it was designed to do by DARPA. Granted, DARPA funding is part of the fiat-inflated MIC, so in that sense you're correct, but... Looking at your statement directly, the internet is doing exactly what is supposed to do. The sooner people realize that everything is following a really, really dark and evil plan and that while that plan has had some hiccups along the way, it's still proceeding along its proscribed path.

We're the contrarians who are trying to blow that system apart, and, I think it's a sure thing that we'll succeed, but, not how we expect.

All things are subject to decay.

The internet, Twitter, Your culture, even Bitcoin is subject to it.

This is why I don't really have issues with toxicity, because I see it as a defense mechanism of sorts.

A lot of the chaos we are seeing in the world today can be attributed to decay of some kind, in some way.

Nothing lasts forever. We can only hope that it decays slowly.

In 50 years many of us will be pining for the good old days of Bitcoin. When it was at its best. Maybe less, even now you can find these types I'm sure.
