Requirements to wear surgical masks in a large London hospital during the first 10 months of Omicron activity (December 2021 to September 2022) made no discernible difference to reducing hospital-acquired SARS-CoV-2 infections, according to new research being presented at this year’s European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) in Copenhagen, Denmark (15-18 April).
You only need to wear #masks in surgery to prevent #bacterial infection and #contamination. Mask don't work for #viruses. Never have. It's disgraceful for a medical facility to be this stupid..🤔
Because they are acting as splash guards
If they put out a peer reviewed paper suggesting the sky is green and pigs fly, people would use that as evidence of their claims despite this being an observable lie.
And when it doesn't work, they blame others for the lack of expected efficacy.
