Agreed! Not only is it quality time with your kids, it helps with trust. It's leading by example when they're learning to read. It's sparking their imagination, as they figure out their place in society. It expands their minds to possibility and potential. Fuuuuuuuuuck that article and any trash bag parent that adheres to that bullshit.
Totally agree. Lots of concepts and places that a child doesn’t see in their day to day that can easily be articulated with reading a story.
The writer is basically advocating for dumbing down 😂💀
