👨⚖️ CoinLab's $75M Lawsuit Against Mt. Gox
On May 2, 2013, CoinLab filed a $75 million lawsuit against Mt. Gox, accusing it of breach of contract.
In February 2013, the companies had entered into a partnership under which CoinLab would provide services for Mt. Gox in North America. The CoinLab lawsuit alleged that Mt. Gox failed to allow them to transfer existing US and Canadian customers from Mt. Gox to CoinLab.
