Incredibly beautiful and I do think it holds great meaning. The main group was so insufferable, the first hour and a half felt like I was getting water boarded 🤣
The main character with all her feelings 🤣
Her boyfriend was possibly the worst dude ever and their relationship was so toxic.
Her families death was also brutal and I think the contrast between that and how they treat death in the tribe was interesting.
There were so many subliminals about race, gender, and culture, it was refreshing that it let things air out at the end and allowed the group to die.
The familiy’s brutal death + the painting starts it off as a terrifying movie. I love the paintings in the beginning of his horror movies. Tells you everything that’s going to happen. There’s no escape basically.
Yeah the boyfriend was a terrible human being. It was satisfying to see what happens to him
