i managed to port rhasspy (open-source voice assistant) to my Pi Umbrel.
i’ve also got a google nest mini, and i reckon it be pretty ironic if i could hack it to be the mic for a FOSS, self-hosted voice assistant.

probably not possible, but i can connect to it through home assistant, maybe there’s something i can do there.

As for modern trendy STT I have no idea. All the systems I’ve tried are very deep into CUDA shenanigans.
