I don’t see a need to adjust for change addresses. They may not be as relevant to the trades and transfers being made, but they are still part of real transactions/new utxo’s that get settled and secured by the network

For context, this graph was made for the payments report. In that context it is relevant to understand what volume users actually intended to transact compared to how the system handles accounting.
