this most recent #PathOfExile league is the first league I played through. My first league was at some point in 2018 but the learning curve was so steep I never stuck around. I tried it on and off.over the years with the Necropolis league being the first one I beat the campaign on. I can officially say I am addicted now and super excited for the difference in game play that #POE2 has to offer.

My top 3 game play features of POE currently are:

1. wide range of class builds. the vast talent tree really makes for choices in game that are meaningfully different

2. variety of end game content. from delve to abyss and onto strong boxs and eng game bosses there is a wide variety of end game options.

3. chase items. the thrill of farming and trying to find valuable items is a huge hook for me.

top 3 issues

1. the 2nd half of the campaign is terrible. feels like a maze running simulator and makes leveling new characters a chore and is boring....

2. screen clutter. The abilities of Characters in combo with mobs and mob attacks makes it so chaotic I cannot tell what's happening andI find myself not even sure what is going on sometimes.

3. the game design is so complex you are forced to seek help from outside the game. The game does not offer any forgiveness for self exploration. this is something I love about games that is abscent here.
