My father in law had to have surgery today. He is diabetic. The hospital had him take his day before medicine with “apple juice or Gatorade”. Showed up to his surgery with “high blood sugar”. Very odd, how could that be?

How is this the standard of medical care in the most advanced society in history? I am beside myself with the levels of lunacy that fiat man has ascended to.
