And it can be as simple as a hole in the ground, just want to burn with no airflow from the bottom. Super easy. Here is my cone kiln in action, less then an hour to burn and you get about 4-5 gallons of biochar.

I also bought a Wen electric wood chipper from Home Depot. $100 able to chip everything in 20 minutes. Use a particle mask, spray the biochar so it’s a little damp and less mess.
