I think it's spot on... the cost you charge for a medical treatment should roughly equal the value the person receives from it. It's basically "my kingdom for a horse" style pricing.

You realize of course that doctors have absolutely nothing to do with what you are charged. You can thank your insurance company and the hospitals they collude with on that one.
