It's 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger' wrapped in other words.
Tell it to the rape victims, abused children or soldiers with PTSD.
They weren't extraordinary enough?
Perspective taken!
I like to concentrate on the positive sides of the quotes I find interesting. Positive side most of the time will lift you, and give you strength to do more.
But of course, not everything is rainbows and unicorns.
