If you pray for God to protect the persecuted Church and rejoice at the federal government shutting down refugee resettlement, then I would encourage you to ask yourself if you truly care for the persecuted church.

I think it's a lot more nuanced than that
Immigration and border policy, absolutely. Refugee resettlement, not so much. More than a third of refugees coming to the US are persecuted Christians. Refugees go through deep vetting.
