As far as meat goes, it’s cheaper to find a local rancher that’ll sell you a quarter cow every now and then. I just do it to be outside, hang with my buddies and stay semi current on the skills.
I already raise all of our pork, lamb and beef. I'm more interested in getting back into hunting/trapping to carnvorize my wardrobe.
