Considered a poet by many, Jim Morrison did not go around and *steal* anyone else’s personal and private writing to make music. He personally wrote many songs for The Doors.

He studied 16th & 17th century Demonology as a teen and wrote deep extensively detailed essays on Demology in high school.🪶📝🔥

He traveled all the way to the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. to study from the only two Demonology books of that era left in the world.🌎

Jim’s English teacher’s had to travel to the Library of Congress to confirm his cited sources. And then demanded Jim to stop writing from obscure sources.

Jim Morrison was a voracious reader and well versed in literature that would later serve to be an inspiration in defining his work.

Jim Morrison graduated top 1% in high school. Quickly obtained a Fine Arts Bachelor Degree in Film from UCLA.

He lived on a classmate’s rooftop and survived on a diet of beans 🫘 and LSD 🍄 just prior to forming The Doors.🚪💜

He was plaqued for most of his young adulthood by alcoholism and drug abuse.

Jim died of heart failure at the age of 27 after doing heroin with his then girlfriend who in turn died three years later.
