The so-called "Islamic" countries of our time are obsessed with the enrichment of its ruling caste (through riba), at the expense of all the other 95% of the population. Just like all other riba-infested countries.

Given this lack of basic justice, where else can one make hijra? Maybe El Salvador?

Akhis, that dream of making hijra to Muslim lands, only to be able to practice the superficial aspects of their deen, while the core (= justice) remains beyond their reach, are deceiving themselves.

Doing justice is only fard upon oneself although we should certainky make attempts at encouraging good and forbidding what is bad. That said, the dominant opinion within Imam Malik's madhab is that hijra is wajib if one lives under a non-muslim ruler. And the reward of hijra is according to one's intention, so if the bros are making hijra even with less than the best of intentions at least the children will have a community around them that is praying and less apparently secular in behavior.
