From what I understand they privately modified the open source that they use heavily. Cryptographic systems that can’t be scrutinized and openly peer reviewed are not secure systems, they are marketing.
the opensource at https://github.com/orgs/holepunchto/repositories is being actively added too and developed in public, its grown massively over the year i watched it
keet seems to be the frontend for those components
i will be surprised if keet isnt open sourced soon

i have been using it for a year, progress has been steady and forward
recents updates have stopped for the big beta release
given no one has acheived what they are trying to its very hopeful
