My step brother was a Minneapolis cop in the 89s and 90s. From his youth he was known by his family as the clutz that broke everything he touched.
He went into law enforcement to "save the world" after graduating with a guilded bachelor from a private college in criminal justice. This was the 80s version of a social justice award.
After 15 or 20 years he became that cop everybody hated. He cost the taxpayers dozens of millions of dollars as the traitorous race baiting mayor and city council settled every complaint against him and his swat team. The job ruined him as a person, disillusioned and angry, multiple wives, two broken families. The cliche city cop.
I would never recommend that life to anyone.
Now we have Derek Chauvin, the poster child of the criminal justice system being run by different criminals.
