I’m not exactly a branding genius myself, but so many nostr apps have such terrible names that I just want to say “I see a rebrand in your future”

It’s a mouthful and not very relatable to what it does
You literally have to translate it for people

My basic criteria for good names:
- easy to say
- easy to spell
- is somehow related to what it does / provide
- memorable
- short
Nosta fails spelling; relevance and memorable.
But like you said, fine for early stage
I think these names are fine for early phases of projects. Rethinking name & brand is a good exercise if/when they grow and "professionalize" a bit.
It’s hard to come up with good names, won’t argue that. I understand why people would rather just build and not spend too much time on naming 👍
Will anyone believe like three years back that you can Zap across all these applications .. it is crazy ..

Yes I’d say they are an exception because zap stream does a good job of indicating what happens in the app and zap store once they add zaps 😂
