I’ve noticed less eggs at the farmer’s market too and I think some of them have put up their prices. Still less than $10 for the last lot I bought though.

yup I get the eggs from the kangaroo island folks

holy shit how much is the weekly pay for you guys over there now? i mean, cigarettes $50, 12 eggs $10, what next? australian dollar is teetering on vertical if you ask me

fortunately, the $10 eggs is an extreme example... but the $50 darts is accurate. Thank fuck I don't smoke anymore... would be the most retarded habit here lol

i stopped anyway permanently 2 years ago, but honestly though it's bad stuff it was nothing compared to the legal food additives that have actually made me very sick

I’ve never smoked so avoid that cost too and I think I usually pay maybe around $8 for eggs but that is for the larger size eggs.

i remember they were $3 when i lived there last in 2012

i pay less than this for eggs here in europe, typical in balkans was about 0.15 euro per egg, here it's more like 25-30 cents

but our taxes are also very high in other areas here, the VAT is higher than GST, for example

hell, i remember back circa 2007 reading that the effective tax rate there was like second highest in the world (worst was denmark or something) at 72%, i bet it's more like 90% now, it's completely nuts how much money goes to the government

literally 90% enslaved you are over there, here maybe 60%, and they have made us poor in europe by strangling industry
