Thought I’d miss Twitter threads and their simplicity, but there’s something about nostr’s flexibility toward sharing a wide range of thoughts, including deeper conversations.
I wish there was a Blog tab, to see long-form text either in profile or feed, or a way to subscribe to the blog-like posts of people and topics that would make it into my everyday #nostr.
Added your feedback. Long form note support is planned to my best understanding. cc #[2] #[3] nor sure if we considered long form notes as a new “tab”.

I spent some time on Mastodon yesterday and it was weird to see people breaking their thoughts across multiple toots because of the character limit. I get that short-form has its advantages but I find a lot more value in some of the longer posts people share on SSB and sometimes on Nostr.
We’ve got support for long-form notes in a PR for Nos that should be merged this week. They’ll just be in the normal feeds for now though.
Good to know. #Nostr is about experimentation. It will be interesting to see what different clients implement and how those choices improve the experience.
