Welcome! Keep in mind nostr it isn't a social media platform like TikTok but a protocol that can house every social media app and much, much more.
Additionally, you fully own your identity (your private key) and can take it to any app that gets built on the platform. There have already been a litany of apps built to mimic many of the well-known platforms and more are currently in development. Last thing to keep in mind is you're incredibly early so this is akin to getting on the Internet in the early 90s. Just don't die of dysentery.
Your wording in the first part is weird. Nostr is a social media platform, just not like TikTok because it's not centralized. Didn't read the rest after that
Welcome. I see a lot of people recommending olas but I don't know why. I'm pretty sure olas posts use a different format ("event kind") that makes them incompatible with a lot of other nostr clients.
