when someone is remorseful and they learned from their actions and by showing they have changed then that is all that matters. If someone took someone's "free will". Eg. Physical abuse, steal money or defame people then I'd say, this must be dealt with accordingly by the law. Other than this, I am not a fan of using "public sentiment" as a measurement to "cancel" someone like a means of public judgement. I do not participate in it.
