People start businesses but have no idea how inefficient they are until they pay someone to not be a yes man.
And a LOT of people think if they just pay their mortgage, their house will survive forever. Shit wears out and breaks, air filters need to be changed, (you would be amazed how many 30 year olds don't know about HVAC filters exist) and wood rots. Foundations need water. Critters and bugs get in if you don't replace your weather stripping Etc.
PSA go check that your dryer vent isn't clogged ESPECIALLY if it vents up through your attic.

In Texas, fuck yes.
In many areas, especially with clay soil and droughts, the foundation needs to be watered to prevent foundation shift and cracking.
Wow, I’ve never heard of that. Where I live we have to do everything we can to keep water out.
