Never go harsh on them it is a journey and lots of people fall into the (myself got out from that last year) trap of “yeah BTC was cool but there are new shiny technologies out there now”. It is our duty to protect our loved ones explaining calmly and pointing out why what marketed out there is not the truth. It’s a journey. Some people get rekt by cryptos and leave to never come back some people keep digging and find the rabbit hole. I wish all the best for all of you!
Yep, I think she said she bought it on Venmo. I know it won't be a usual thing. I mined ETH for BTC so you could say I have a soft spot. I told her I only have Bitcoin and the only thing worth investing in imo. I made my shitcoin journey in 2017 and got rekt'd live most everyone else. It's a natural cycle of coming to light that Bitcoin is the king.
