True, but mascara can create liver function scores that don't exist. It was pretty distracting when I was 14 and suddenly all the girls were wearing it :-p
I have known girls who were really good with makeup, but its a serious art form. With one of my exes, we were never less than three hours late to anything, but she would look stunning.
I'm a makeup dunce. Hardly ever wear any and then it takes me an hour and it's just basic stuff.
I can count on my fingers the amount of times I've worn make-up. I don't even know how and aren't about to learn at my age.
What I did start a few years back was a decent daily skin care routine with good quality products. That's probably why I still get carded when I buy alcohol at the age of 36.
I stopped getting carded last year. I guess that was the infamous Wall. 😂
That's okay, tho, as my husband needs reading glasses, now.

Every time I roll my eyes at being carded, they inevitably say, "What? It's a compliment." and I'm like it was cute up until about 5 years ago...
I had one lady look at my ID, exclaim, "No way!" loud enough to draw the security guard's attention. 🙄

Like when I was in the PTA and people asked me who my favorite teacher is and what subject I plan on studying. 🙄😂
