Yo nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s would you consider adding a “market” tab or something like that to nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 where users could see orders from nostr:npub1p2psats79rypr8lpnl9t5qdekfp700x660qsgw284xvq4s09lqrqqk3m82 and potentially other p2p exchanges that start integrating Nostr?
Or maybe it’s as simple as a “filter feed by relay” option, and users can then browse only/all events from the Satstralia relay?
Would be next level cool 🤖⚡️🧡💜

WHAT 👀 🫂
This will put us all under the microscope 🤣
🤔
Is a nostrich’s IP address revealed when reading notes? Or only when signing them?
I’d imagine most people would utilize KoalaSats’ contribution to watch an “order book” in real time, kind of like the now-defunct nostr:npub1kdkl4prkt7jmy8cdzdutqv8988vekl93nj4r25zpqpa5uacm9jkqnsjzq5, rather than actually to shop *on* nostr.
You make a good point though, that if a client is also an exchange tool, that could bring some heat in certain jurisdictions.
A lot of heat. Especially since it’s not as obscure as bisq or robosats.
😅
Yeah its more of a thought provoking exploration.
At one point nostr:npub1vtlqystr2056cqvuy8uehq5g757362029krqv5axw6gdw37kunkq7ajrhd was speaking of combining nostr as ID layer for a p2p protocol that robosats, bisq etc can all plug into.
I do remember that. Cool concept indeed.
But since nostr’s Other Stuff has such broad/general potential, this could easily serve as a “view only” way to engage (ie filter by relay, market-feed, etc.) within an existing social/communications-focused client like Damus. That seems like a pretty straightforward feature/tweak on the existing setup.
Then, at the same time, one could potentially build a client that interfaces more deeply with these p2p exchanges.
nostr:npub1nje4ghpkjsxe5thcd4gdt3agl2usxyxv3xxyx39ul3xgytl5009q87l02j's point about unwanted attention is a good one, though, and while I tend to think that everything will “come to nostr” eventually, it may not be in the protocol’s favor to start with the use cases that specifically attract regulatory attention (ie finance/money/exchanges/“defi”/etc), at least until its robust enough - and with a large enough user base - to withstand the pressure that comes with that sort of thing
p2p is tough enough as it is to make an excellent experience. Chances are the robosats and others 100% focused on this challenge will show focused other stuff apps is the way.
I will keep 👀 open just in case there is easy way at the least to point where p2p happens on the network.
Perfect 🤜🤛
