Let's think outside of the box here. Perhaps the drop in small donor donations is not reflecting a lack of enthusiasm about Biden or an apathy about Trump. Maybe it is tied to the downfall of Twitter.

In my experience, many Dens feel resentful of the need to "buy" an election, and only donate to counteract the billionaires funding the opposition. Maybe they don't see enough threat yet to open their wallets.
