When the power goes out, which one is more likely to disappear: the global network or the national service with a single point of failure?
This argument always makes me chuckle, as if the current financial system isn't entirely dependent on electricity.
A short story. 🔌
1 - A family in a poor country buys 100 #Bitcoin for $10K to preserve their savings.
2 - The local regime shuts off the power for 6 mo to clamp down on the pop. Somehow, the family survives.
3 - #Bitcoin gradually ascends to $30K+ over the course of a decade.
