Good is hard to answer. I’d watch some of those videos to try to learn more and see if it’s a good fit for your use case. Nothing is perfect.
Liquid and lightning will require some fees, though much smaller than on chain.
Liquid has tradeoffs & this is how I see it.
It's not as low risk as Onchain Bitcoin or self custody Lightning.
It has less risk than a single party, custodial lightning wallet.
It's not as fast as lightning (1 min Vs 5-10 secs), but fees are cheap & you don't need to manage channel liquidity.
It also seems relatively easy to move in & out of. Moving in/out onchain Bitcoin has fees & so do the swap services (more like lightning fees though).
A big downside is the small number of people that are willing to receive it.
Downloading & setting up Green wallet is required.
