It might be funny but many places on Earth are not cities.
And many people are growing own food either by necessity or because of poisonous food in the stores.
Also Eastern Europeans in general don’t trust and obey the government that much.
They have to come with foreign army to kick us out of our lands.
Not that it is impossible but making my family and the village starve is going to be hard.
Raid your village.
We don’t have big national army because of NATO but also I doubt Bulgarian army will raid Bulgarian villages.
Foreigners have to come over.
And do they have the manpower to do it everywhere?
AI killer bots. Ever watch black mirror? 🍿 👀
Nope. I have read tons of noir cyber punk & scifi though.
But those bots will meet some clever saboteurs.
Plus hunters with snipers, AK-47, etc.
Who will produce more?
For such scenario we need many years of planning without them being exposed. The pitchforks are still many.
I would think of other scenarios much more possible, like cities and outskirt populations.
Rural vs city.
But also there are vast areas of high mountains with people that would be a pain in ass to hunt and shutdown.
