Why some people say that channels are supported in Damus? I can’t see how if that’s the case

Are they referring to some other implementation?

Try Nostr_Console. It’s a console client that lets you join public or encrypted channels and create them. Public chat/channels are part of the NIPs https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/28.md

Also #hashtags are kinda like the public channels on Damus

Well but I’m referring to channels where you post something that doesn’t go to the global feed.. only those in the channel see it

Is it true we can delete posts on console ?

Yes, however all relays that have seen the original message and have the event stored will need to delete it. Some may or may not depending on circumstances.

Thanks, haven’t tried the console though I knew you can manage channels there. I’m just trying to confirm if Damus can/cannot handle channel info which I think it can’t
