i don't approve blocking in general, tbh. People just block everything that does not fit their view and lock themselves into a bubble in which everyone constantly reassures each other.

Removing public blocking while keeping it for the dms seems like a decent policy to me.

I also critizise the blocking of fedi instances, by the way.
