No religion/faith/belief, whatever you want to call it, can tame human barbarism. It has only been able to suppress it.

Shitty people simply one up each other and eventually cancel each other out. If you are in the middle of that clusterfuck, there is always that option to remove one’s self out of the equation if one has the will to do it.
