I suppose there'd have to be supporting docs, along with Driver's license.. I've had to use copies of an electric bill, with my face, things like that. I keep coming back to the fact having the public/private keys opens up the ability for security.  But you certainly have a point.  Maybe a combination of a driver's license & your tax return, with the electric bill.  Or,  maybe I'm blowing smoke up my own rear end thinking about this. That could be it too!
