The IRS, amazingly, operates at a deficit, and returns no profit for the US Gov.

This means that the IRS in no way funds government spending, and actually increases spending.

Shut down the IRS = reduce Gov spending, which is facilitated by the Fed.

I was wrong: the IRS took in trillions, doesn't cost trillions. Not sure how I got the impression they operate at a loss; thought I had seen something on #X a bit back, but probably misread it and internalized the error.

There’s no way their cases involving compulsion are net profitable
