I've recently switched to Phoenix, are there any major advantage to Blixt?

Phoenix is also good, is more for users that do not understand very well how LN works and also is easier to manage it in bad connection environment.

Blixt is more for advanced users that want to have FULL control over the LN channels management and liquidity, but still do not need to run a public routing node.

That sounds like what I need. I want to learn how to run my own lightning node, but I don't want to end up like the guy on the bike. Blixt might be a good first step. Thanks for the info!

So, if I fund my on-chain address in blixt and "automatically open channels" in the setting is active, a lighting channel is automatically opened to blixt public node?

Do I understand it correct?

That's how I'd like to start with my blixt wallet..

Is there a way to run blixt on a phone and connect it with/to ln-messaging apps like Juggernaut?

Juggernaut says they are only supporting lnd 0.9 or later and as far as I'm aware blixt uses lnd 0.16.

Probably there is a specific reason for this, but is there a future or current scenario in which I could tell my (not so tech savy) friends to run a lightning node on their phone mainly to chat with them over lightning P2P?
