Incidentally, most of those who oppose providing armaments to Ukraine to defend itself against Russia would have opposed it regardless of a lack of a provision for our border's security.  We know this because they have said repeatedly that they oppose providing arms.  It was never about border security.  If border security is a top priority, then why don't they shut down the government (which is never actually shut down, just parts of it are temporarily) until something is done?  I certainly support that.  Besides, for those who demand offsets, which is a great policy when we actually have the votes to enforce it, I notice they don't demand offsets when it comes to securing the border.  My point is that many of these people are all over the map, desperately looking for arguments or policies to give them political cover.  What we need are CONSERVATIVE LEADERS and CONSTITUTIONALISTS, of which there are very few in DC and politics today, who are coherent and principled, prudent and serious.  It's the only way we can defeat totalitarianism at home (the Marxists-Islamists-Democrat Party-media axis) and protect us from the new Axis powers abroad.
