Of course, both would be preferable, but I have yet to see privacy taken seriously on bitcoin. It's almost always a secondary matter, and if it exists, it is currently too difficult or expensive for the average user to do it correctly and consistently.

Agreed I'm trying to figure it out though. The bolt 12 stuff and mints look interesting for privacy enhancement. I agree fully with you though
