BOI reporting deadline extension passes US House

House Bill HR 736 titled, Protect Small Businesses From Excessive Paperwork Act of 2025, passes in the House 408-0. This bill provides an extension for an estimated 32 million small businesses. The new deadline of January 1, 2026 for beneficial ownership reporting . A companion bill has also introduced in the Senate.
