It’s amazing how effective keeping a population too busy to read and ingest educational material is, in keeping them pigeon holed into their slavery.
The only reason I ever “woke up” at all to some of the realities of our current system and discovered Austrian economics and Bitcoin is because I had the luxury of having a couple of jobs that afforded me a lot of free time to pursue my interests. Or jobs that I was able to automate to the point that I could finish my work in half the time.
That and endless inquisitiveness.
