Since Bitcoiners are way more based than Vitalik that must mean BlockStream, Lightning Labs, Block and Brink must have given millions to Samourai's Defense fund...

If you are curious why SW and TDev felt compelled to take a plea and Roman is still fighting, I can think of some reasons.

one of the above listed did donate privately but agree that overall the lack of support was disappointing

A public endorsement of the fucked up nature of their indictment with a pledge to match donations, is much more valuable than a private donation.

The listed companies all rely on Bitcoin being usable in a non-Government controlled way, but their lack of support has definitely contributed to the Government winning a plea.

SW and TDev did not have the support of the large Bitcoin companies, even though their case will have serious repercussions for each of their businesses. It is like shooting themselves in the foot.
