You use the ip address it assigns to you as a clearnet access?

I'm using the term clearnet to just mean traffic goes over internet without Tor.
If we are on the same page there, I don;t assign an IP in Mullvad. It allocates you one when you run it.
( That's different to Tailscale, which asks you to register on their webpage, and that allocates you an IP to access your node remotely. )
Yes we’re on the same page. I guess my question was more: do you use the address mullvad assigns you to access your start9 over the internet
